Holy Cross Church Options Study

Presentation of Options Study Report

11.30am, Sunday 11th May 2014

Holy Cross Church

For some considerable time, Holy Cross Parochial Church Council has been considering ways of making Holy Cross Church more flexible for both formal and informal worship, and for other church-related activities. We wish the church building to become a more effective centre of faith where everyone feels welcome: serving the community and benefiting generations to come, whilst remaining a beautiful house of prayer and worship.

In 2012, Derek Kemp of Church Projects Limited was commissioned by the PCC to conduct an Options Study - to consider our needs, to provide initial recommendations as to how best they can be met, and to supply outline costings for different re-order options.

As part of the Options Study, Derek Kemp conducted one-to-one informal interviews and meetings with those members of Holy Cross and interested parties from the wider community who wished to make their views known.

Derek Kemp will present his report in Holy Cross Church after the 10am service of Holy Communion on Sunday May 11th, beginning at 11.30am. In due course, the Rector and PCC will determine the way forward, in the light of Holy Cross Church’s long-term vision for mission and ministry.

An Invitation

The Options Study presentation will be open to all. Please come to Holy Cross for the meeting at 11.30 am on Sunday 11th May. Also, everyone is most welcome to attend the 10am service of Holy Communion before the presentation.
